Buon vivere is the Piacenza Expo exhibition dedicated to the flavours and typical products of the Italian territory. More than 70 manufacturers will present their culinary excellences in Piacenza using many flavours to tell a deep and important story: Buon Vivere represents indeed the identity of a rich and valuable territory.
Buon Vivere, market exhibition of typical quality products, will take place from March 4 to 6, 2016, at the same time as the famous spring exhibitions Apimell and Seminat.
The decision to integrate the events is inspired by the desire to offer the public a full path focused on the quality of good living. As well as being the obvious and natural showcase of typical Piacenza productions, Buon Vivere opens to the typicality and products of other territories for the purpose of spreading a new and “delicious” knowledge, expanding its markets, and promoting the production of traditional Italian culinary excellences.

THE MISSION

Buon Vivere’s mission is the promotion, diffusion and enhancement of the various cultures that animate the lands of our country – where land is to mean thousands of typical and local food products, harvested and processed into foods and dishes that deserve to be known by all.
The exhibition aims at the modern consumer who no longer accepts the practice of buying blind, but chooses with expertise and attention to quality.
Beside the exhibition, workshops designed in collaboration with experts from the catering sector, guided tastings in collaboration with exhibitors and conferences in collaboration with Institutions, Associations and Business Categories will enliven the event.

Sweet and spicy olive oil from “the Leopard” valley in Agrigento, a huge variety of flavours from the ducal lands, wines and sparkling wines from the Oltrepò Pavese, cheeses from the grazing lands of Aveto Park. Cooked must and balsamic vinegar of Modena PGI, artisanal chocolate from Perugia, wines and sparkling wine of Valdobbiadene, the precious Verdicchio from Marche, handmade bakery products from Trentino, Liguria and Puglia, fish products from Lampedusa, sauces, jams and compotes from farms located in Campania. These are only some of the culinary curiosities that you can enjoy at the fair, combined with the excellences of this territory, well known and appreciated for its history and culinary tradition. A taste journey across guided tastings and unique purchases, the genuineness and typicality of the Italian territories, and so much more.
