This article is also available in: Italian

The strong flavour of Taleggio cheese goes perfectly with the lightness and softness of spinach, making this dish very appetizing. As an appetizer, it is perfect to impress your guests not only visually but also in its taste, I recommend you try this recipe: you’ll be greatly satisfied!
Let’s cook together!

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: low
PREPARATION TIME: 15 minutes
COOKING TIME: 30 minutes
SERVES 12 FLAN

INGREDIENTS

500 g of spinach (you can also use frozen spinach)
5 tbsp. of Parmigiano Reggiano Malandrone 1477
2 eggs
Salt
Extra virgin olive oil
Black pepper
50 g of Taleggio cheese
60 ml of milk

INSTRUCTIONS

Put the spinach in boiling water for a few minutes to soften them. Place them in a colander and let lose the excess of water. If necessary, help yourself by squeezing them gently with a spoon. Place the spinaches into the blender, add the eggs, extra virgin olive oil, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper (I have not put any salt because the cheese flavour and the addition of the Taleggio cheese fondue make this a very tasty dish). Blend until the mixture is creamy. Oil the steel molds and pour the spinach mixture. Bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes (the oven must be preheated). In a saucepan, pour the milk and the Taleggio cubes. Melt the cheese and pour over the spinach flan. Serve immediately and enjoy your meal!
