FUDSTOCK: LOVE FOR FOOD, TERRITORY AND CONVIVIALITY


Next 28th of June Migliano, a small hamlet under the municipality of Camaiore (LU) in Tuscany will be the theatre of an event destined to leave a mark in the history: Fudstock, a food-and-wine festival strongly wanted by the chef Cristiano Tomei with the purpose to make approach and meet the excellence of the wine/food producers with the major Italian chefs, creating a not accidental comparison with Woodstock that in the faraway summer of 1969 hosted one of the most extraordinary kermesse of peace, love and music

PEACE, LOVE AND FOOD

Starting from 4.00 pm , along Migliano’s streets , the producers will prepare their stands to be able to make taste and buy their products to the visitors. Local and national excellences will be present: the farm “Maestà della Fomica” that manufactures jams, sauces and other products kneading the raw materials produced following the biological farming’s rules in a land that is at 1000m above the sea level, the highest plateau of the region; then “Michelangelo Masoni”, the craft brewery “San Marco di Pietrasanta”, the “Tommaso Ponzanelli’s” coffee and the farm “Antica Filiera” with their cheeses obtained from sheep’s milk in Cecina valley, the same creators of the event Croco e Smilace (www.crocoesmilace.it) with their saffron.
From other parts of Italy will have: the farm “Janas” (http://aziendaagricolajanas.blogspot.it) that in Orvieto lands produce flours from ancient wheat, trying to recover also the old processing techniques , from Alessandria the biological farm “ La Ramate” with their goat cheeses, from south Italy , precisely from Doria in Calabria, will arrive the farm Doria that produces oil

THE LOGISTIC AND THE COOKS

The festival is open to all and a shuttle service will be available from the parking in Valpromaro to Migliano until the h.20.30 ( when will be possible only the way from Migliano to the parking)
Inside the event in the dishes’ tasting zone will be possible, without obligation, to buy a ticket at eur 25.00 ( no ticket no tasting) with the possibility to buy further single tickets after the first one. Otherwise you can taste and buy the products directly from the producer’s stand . Obviously the price of the ticket can’t be the same of the other usual local festivals due to the presence of the major Italian chefs that will interpret in their recipes these products.

So will be the festival of the love, love for food and quality, for territory and conviaviality, a celebration of the good eating and an opportunity to savour delicacies, live cooked by big chefs expressly for the event
