Castello Bonomi, the only Château in Franciacorta, stands majestically at 275 m above sea level on the slopes of Mount Orphan, in Coccaglio. With its 24 hectares of beautifully terraced vineyards, all fenced and surrounded by a secular park, Castello Bonomi represents the excellence of this territory of small villages and ancient palaces full of history and charm.
The philosophy of Castello Bonomi brings together strong commitment and great passion to produce the Franciacorta, being constantly manifested in some inflexible choices to create a Franciacorta with a sublime taste and unique style.
The wines of Castello Bonomi take on unique organoleptic characteristics, due to its richness, structure and complexity, thanks to the limestone-rich and bedrock soil composition, to its southern exposure, slope and microclimate: let’s find out more about them!

Blanc de Blanc with a pale straw-yellow colour with greenish hues. The perlage is discreet, refined, subtle and persistent, characterizing a category increasingly appreciated worldwide because of the non-invasive carbon dioxide. Fruity traits with slightly citrusy aromas, elegant with impressions of tropical fruits. In the glass, it releases balsamic and varietal notes. In mouth, it is well-balanced, fresh, with a pleasant and dosed aftertaste (bread of Altamura, delicate spiciness). The acidity allows a generalized use, with cleaning and invigorating power.

Exuberant entrance in the glass, with rich and persistent foam. This wine is surprising because it is very pleasant, not trapped by an obvious cliché. From the beginning, the colour is pale yellow clear and bright, the perlage lively and fine. Good intensity of aromas, floral, where it’s easy to recognize orange blossom and hawthorn. With oxygenation, in the glass, it increases the complexity, ranging from white fruit and a pleasant hint of citrus. The final balsamic snort leave a fantastic sensation.
In mouth, rich and with good droiture: the highest percentage of Pinot Noir gives breadth and strength. It is fresh but structured at the same time. The foam, considerably persistent, results in improved drinkability.

The appearance of an old rosé with perlage fine but vigorous. Reminiscent of a summer sunset, with chromatic variations through the impact of light. The aroma is firm and intense, reminiscent of the twilight. Scents of underbrush berries with pleasant balsamic nuances and a slight spiciness. Clear aftertaste of shortcrust pastry, but also strawberry jam.
In mouth, it is vigorous yet elegant, energetic, fresh and mineral. Good retronasal persistence, with a long-lasting aftertaste. Typical table wine due to its structure and pleasant acidity.

The excellence of Castello Bonomi, historical company of Franciacorta, is proven by the many important awards won during the years. CruPerdu and Rosé symbolize an asset that has distinguished us for years, ranking among the best Franciacorta ever.
